Workday life for a person with disabilities

The individual work consists of each student choosing a theme and within this theme a subject, where both illness and treatment should be described based on knowledge from course literature, lectures and other relevant literature, please use the course library.

In the work on the theme, workday life for a person with the current disease or disability should be described. This information can be obtained via, for example, an interview with a person with the disease / disability, via contact with the patient association or via fiction. Thus, it is knowledge both from course literature and from other relevant literature, and, where applicable, experience from the lived life that is required for the task.

The individual work should address the following: A fall description of about 200 words that begin the work. A description of the current diagnosis / disease / injury / disability medical aspects of about 300 words. A description of obstacles and opportunities for activity and participation in everyday life’s various arenas (in the home environment, among family and friends, in school, work, etc.) of about 500 words. The following theme applies: “Intellectual disabilities”
